Unbelievable, and why are you doing so much research on LadySharah and watching her every move. There are moderators on the board for that. Looks like someone has a little too much time on their hands. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion.

You just proved once again the issue's you have with me.

As for to much time on my hands, yes this weekend I did have time, I'm home with a sore throat. Maybe to much yelling at goof balls like you!

What's in a hot totie? how ever it's spelt. That might help. I'm not one to gargle with salt water.

First off tonguetied, I was chuckling about the fact that sixpack said huh's and kisses instead of hugs.
As for the gobble (last time I checked that was what a turkey did). I was just mentioning I hope to feel better to eat my turkey dinner tonight.
As for the hot totie I was serious I heard it helps with sore throats and colds.
So if that's advertising, which I don't anywhere see that I was. Oh yes come one come all I'm sick and have a dinner to go to. Please! Come on think about it. That would be some pretty poor advertising wouldn't it? I mentioned all that cause I even admitted to being bored at home with time on my hands. Big difference from advertising.

hot tottie/toddy/totty

I always thought of a hot tottie as an alcohol based drink that has been heated up or mixed with boilied water. There are many recipes.

Recommended when nursing a cold or sore throat.
Tea Hot Toddie
In a large mug put in 1 to 2 (or more) ounces of your favorite bourbon, brandy, rum, or whiskey, add honey and lemon juice to taste. If you have fresh ginger or a lemon, add some slices. Can add a couple cloves or cinnamon sticks.
Put in a tea bag or two of your favorite herbal tea like echinacea tea, ginger, mint or sleepytime, or chamomile tea. Add hot water and stir. Remove tea bag when steeped to your tastes.

Now I would rather have a hot twattie ot a hot tartie!!!

Thankyou for the recipe, unfortunately the only alcohol on that list that I like would be the brandy, even that one is iffy. But that is unaccessible till Tuesday. I'm sure I'll feel better by then. I guess I'll have to suck it up and rinse with icky salt water.
Thanks sixpack, I'll keep that recipe in mind if I ever get a sore throat again.
