When you go see a sp and she charges "x" amount...then you go see a different sp and her mount is much less, do you guys really care, or do you think twice as to why her price is so low?

No, I think naked means that if one charges less than another, do you think twice that it might be she is on drugs or is just ignorant?

I think if he sees both of them and the cheaper offers the same service, then the guy wouldn't care and would stick with the cheaper of the two.

You get what you pay for dosent apply to this hobby, since who here hasent paid insane amounts of $$$ yet goten nothing?
If the service is Insanely good then id pay Insane amounts of money. Other wise no.
If you see 2 girls and girl A charges 1 Brown and a red and Girl B charges 2 browns and a green, yet girl B gave great service and Girl A wasent good enough to be worth 1 brown and a red, well then most of us will see girl B.

Quality vs Economy

If you were going to rent a car for the day, and you could get a Cadilac for 180 or a VW for 150, what would you take ?
Cadilac all the time.

I think that it's like anything else. When you don't know what the value of the better one is, you buy the cheap one to try it out. Once you figure out it didn't do the job great, you tend to look for better quality and experiment.

Renting a car and what you pay is easy. Competition and stable market forces mean that you pay the same amount for a given car (within about 10%) irrespective of whether you rent from Budget, Avis, Thrity, etc. If I pay double the going rate, I would naturally expect an extraordinary car (ie. an elite sports car).

With SPs it can be a different story. I have paid fees ranging from "x" to "20x" for services that turned out to be almost equal (I travel worldwide, so thats why I have the big "x" to "20x" range). While paying more may mean better service, it definitely is not always the case. I still try cheap and expensive services when it comes to SPs, but this is the only business where I feel like I'm just gambling with the results I get.

To be sure of what you are getting for your money, more time has to be spent researching review boards like this one. I'm lazy, I wish I could just go by price and really be sure of the SPs service and looks based on price alone.

I'm going to rent a Ferrari now and jack-off on the leather seats. At least I know what I'm getting and how much it costs.

Here is my biggest problem with this business: Take what you ask for in your posted rate ... girls that hold you hostage for more $ once you get there, annoy me to no end.

If you say your hourly rate is 175 then that's that. "Well, for another $50 we can do this, for that it's another $100".

For me, I go to an ATM and get what is asked for - period!

It's sort of like that saying "you get what you pay for" well in most cases. :)
I respectfully disagree,

You pay what the market forces dictate. For most products, the supply and demand curve cross at a price point, any pricing significantly above or below where those curves cross is inefficient. An SP that puts a little thought into her pricing, and experiments a little, will learn where she can price her sessions to maximize revenue (if they want to do it - maximize their revenue that is.)

Those who think, "I'm different or better and my service is worth much more" than that efficient pricing point may be correct - they may actually have a far superior product (but in my experience pooning, there are not as many who qualify for that as those who think they qualify for that.) It is more likely that they price themselves at an inefficient point and miss out on maximizing their revenue.

And don't think that just the customers demand dictate pricing points. Note in the first paragraph it is dictated by where the supply (SP) and demand (client) curves cross. Standard pricing is dictated much more by the number of SP's and the number of clients willing to pay x, moreso than the percieved quality of the product by either party.

There are obviously slightly different cuves for PSE, GFE, non-GFE, etc., as well as different curves for HJ, BJ, FS, etc. Note that these are different pricing curves for different products, not as much quality driven.

Of course, this is based on "free-market" economics and collusion by either side would kind of screw up the theory, and no theory in economics is perfect - just more of a guideline.

Sorry for rambling, but I couldn't resist.

If we always got what we paid for, review boards wouldn't be necessary.
Review boards also contribute to efficient markets in that they make more information available to both cosnumer and supplier. Better and more information and data make for more informed consumers, suppliers, and ultimately more efficient markets.
