Here I Go Again...

Held out until 8pm, then switched on the tube.

Knew it was a bad decision. Did it anyway.

Lifestyle reflection moment. Sigh.

To stay balanced and challenge my psyche, I switch between evangelical TV and the Simpsons. Between the News and SNL or Southpark, between reruns of Mash and the latest Netflix thriller.

I turn off all talk shows, network propaganda, and primetime TV (except Survivor, which I offset with The Curse of Oak Island). Owning my Sins and Frailties.

Stay Unbalanced my friends. There is no Koolaid.

Just finding it useful to throw a few rocks in my own pathetic ruts.

Curious what y’all are doing to keep from spiraling into never-never land.

The curse of oak Island is still on? I thought they would have found treasure by now!

I have been going for a walk around the block when I feel antsy. There is a special on Netflix I am waiting to watch about a young lady named Cyntoia Brown. I am saving that for when I am bored of my usual show. Otherwise, I am a bit of a homebody so I am feeling okay with self isolation.

Working 12 hours a day for the 12th day in a row.

Yay essential-ness.

Worked 26 days in April, usually 10 to 14 hours per day, so no time to get bored. On days off I have been jet boating up so rivers, quad riding, hiking, working on restoring an old motorbike, yard work, and walking my dogs frequently.

Yo' Punt brother, you said the magic word buddy. YUP, there is no fucking KOOLaid.
Only those who choose to sit in a camp. Problem is there are no camps to choose from
as I see it. Everything political stinks to high heaven like never before.

Okay, I'll stop ranting while I'm ahead. One program I'm reminded of that was put out years
ago by HBO, was called "The Pacific" a sequel to the famous "Band of Brothers" series
Which I have both on DVD and were epic awesome. I've decided to dust those off the
shelves and watch them again. CLASSICS!!!

There's one scene where an actor is sitting there throwing pebbles into an enemy soldiers head.
Or rather what's left of it as the top portion of his skull was blown away but the carcass remained
sitting up. Why do I have this strange feeling of wanting to laugh. LOL!!
He is bored or so completely separated from reality that the spectacle
of what he see's before him doesn't even faze him as he is as they call battle scarred.

Anyone seen the Pacific and remember that scene?

I wonder how many people are feeling like that now?

Okay back to reality and what I enjoy watching when turning on the tube. For christ
sake look at this. Hogans Heroes is still on MEtv ch 30 on Shaw. AWESOME!!!

Been watching that for quite awhile now.

Mornings, Email stuff. (mostly delete the spam) The last few days, Building my hanging baskets (3 weeks early) or if raining, jigsaw puzzles. The cars are all well washed, waxed and detailed...
