I read your first blog. I didn't find it particularly compelling. To be honest, it lacked original thought.
I wouldn't call that first entry her 'first blog'. To me, that was just an introduction, and it was clear that the blog will be starting soon. However, I wouldn't have included the invitation to do a playdate. Miss CP, that was probably unnecessary because it's fairly obvious that you advertise in the escort section, just sayin'

I look forward to your blog posts and I think there have been a lot of good topic suggestions here in this thread!

Something one can never pinpoint
That's true... I think I would feel slightly narcissistic writing about myself all day, like I'm so interesting lol....
To clarify....
I was born and raised here in Vancouver, moved to NYC for school and modeling when I was 20, I heard about the Bunny Ranch and went to work there. While I ewas there I became the star of 2 shows on HBO and was a cover girl/centerfold 3 times, including being a Hustler Hone... now I'm back here for school and to spend some time with the fam...
Here's the funny thing about the term narcissistic. Writing about yourself and your experiences has nothing to do with obssessive self love. It is the ONLY thing that we actually can do with any honesty. OUr own perspective is the only one that we can present and writing about it and your experiences lends to a greater degree of self awareness, something many lack. REading about anothers REAl experiences and perspectives is fascinating especially when they are REALK representations of the ACTUAL narraters experiences. We can learn from reading about truth. I would surmise thouhg cami since you are a real person with real connections writing candidly would be challenging. What one tends to write when aware that the audience has familiarity with the writer is what one would like to represent oneself as to others rather than the actual raw naked truth which few are ready for. It would be interesting to write under5 an assumed name in a differenmt city about your experience here to allow for greater candour. I'd be interested in hgearing what your TRUTH is for sure!!! THe other difficult thing would be that in this community readers would easily recognize themselves being represented in your articling. Even readers from other cities as they clearly would know who you are.

Is a blog not just the writer's reflections.... to be distinguished fro a research assignment where the object is to present a synopsis based upon extensive study from a variety of sources? Or am I misinformed

I completely agree with you. I was on a show, I can't remember now but it was either Maury or the Bill Cunningham show, when there were girls who were auditioning to work at. The bunny ranch, which it sounds like has a similar concept to the Fox Den. There were girls who were definitely not right for this type of "work" for many of the reasons you mentioned, and I told them as much. The host was surprised and the owner of the ranch, who likes tout this a as the greatest thing in the world for everyone and being of the belief that every woman is a secret slut that just wants to get pounded all day, wasn't happy I said it either, but I had to be honest.
Thank you for recognizing that!
Hi Cami,

I think a relevant topic for your blog would be the points that a young woman should consider before getting into the SP line of work.

For a short period of time I saw a number of newbie girls that worked for Carmen Fox. I think that CF agency makes it very easy for a young lady to get into the industry. I would argue, perhaps too easy. I saw some really sweet young ladies that I think thought that this new line of work was going to resolve all of their financial worries. Instead I think that many discovered that after the novelty of their "newness" had worn off, they were basically sitting in the den for 8 hours and earning little or no pay. The ladies that were getting the repeat customers clearly had something more to offer that they did not have to offer or were not willing to offer. It is also possible that the long term girls have more modest expectations, financially speaking. After a few weeks these new girls would no longer appear on the daily schedule. Part of the equation I'm sure is they found out that not all of their customers had the looks and charm of Richard Gere, a la Pretty Woman.

If you look on the CF website, you will see that 15 new girls have been announced in the last 30 days. I guarantee that in another 30 days, only a very few of these ladies will still be active at CF. In fact, several have not yet posted pictures, even though they joined several weeks ago, which makes me suspect that these ladies may have already left CF.

I know that from past conversations with newbie CF ladies that a significant percentage of these ladies had never done this "work" before. Now don't get me wrong, for the right lady, this line of work is perfectly ok. BUT, if a young lady gets into this line of work with a false idea of what to expect and then quits after a few weeks, she can look forward to wondering for the rest of her life "will I run into someone who I serviced during my short period in this line of work"? It seems to me, these young ladies pay a heavy price for some very short term income gain.

Again, I am not disparaging this line of work for the right person - that would make me a very big hypocrite since I have been a user of said services for many years. But there should be a “points to consider before entering this line of work” doc that these young ladies should read before joining CF or similar agencies.

Those are all great ideas. Thank you so much!
1. SPs Overseas :) You could do an entire series on working conditions and the social implications of being an SP in various places around the world...like a compare and contrast of prices, average age of starting work, yadda,yadda...

2. SPs in popular media. You would be perfect to write articles on sex moving into the mainstream with an emphasis on SP work.

3. Maybe answer reader questions like an advice column?

That is a good idea... I have a post there now labeled etiquette Dos&Don'ts if you want to check it out
I agree with the advice from an SP topic. I am certain other SP's and clients would appreciate being able to ask many questions.
Myself I would ask how a client should treat the SP properly to get the most out of a session. I am sure cleanliness and respect are very high on the list, but I am sure there are other key suggestions that could be offered for everyone's benefit.:thumb:

That's a thought too...
And sure, I would visit anywhere if people showed enough interest!
1) For example, some areas of Australia have legal brothels. Generally they are zoned to certain areas of a city but do independents exist; how do they compare to Nevada; would the model work here? Might be a business write off finding out :)

2) Agreed

3) Ever think of a trip to the Island? :clap2:

Thank you!
I just write in the notes section of my phone, it dies t count words.... That's short though right?
Cami, I write, sporadically, a blog for my own website. I get idea by going through industry forums, websites, and other blogs.

I keep my ideas on a list on my computer and add to it every once in a while.

Talk about your experiences in the industry... good and bad... how you started... why you are still in it... why the Bunny Ranch (a friend worked at the Chicken Ranch)... funny situations... scares... etc.

Try to keep each article about 400 - 500 words.

Most of all, have fun doing it.

That's the problem... I feel like it's not respectful to talk about my experiences with people without their permission. I feel like discretion is so important...

I think just go with the moment, what your mood is.
What is the hot button topic of the day.

And I think try to have a theme in mind. Like is this supposed to be educational fun light or heady and high brow about me the industry how much sexual content etc etc.

Writing is fun, but tough to do it on a regular basis I mean you can but to produce good material daily is tough.

There are many sites that help bloggers learn the ropes. When you have a public blog, like ERSList, the common practice is to commit to a schedule, so that your readers can expect when they will hear from you next. Some have themes, like, in your case, Friday Funday, or something like that, for your weekly blog post.

If it's your own blog, it still makes sense to be consistent but many (including me) just write when they feel like it.

When you're feeling particularly chatty one day, you can write a few blog posts and save them, so that you have them to post on the scheduled day, even if you're not in the mood to write on that exact day.
