I think there are the three strip clubs out there. The Byrd, Shakerz (used to be T-Barz) and whatever they're calling the one at the Turf hotel this week (It's gone through a number of name changes and closings and re-openings). Shakerz is probably the nicest of the three for decor and ambiance. It also has one of the nicer stages. I don't mind going to The Byrd if a dancer that I like is there. The stage is a good size. But I would say the term "peeler bar" is an apt description of the place, if you get my drift.
I haven't been to the one at the Turf for a while (at least the last two name changes). I've heard that it's been renovated in that time but I have no idea what it's like now, if it's even open again. I ran into a dancer at the 5 a few weeks ago, who was working the floor that night doing VIPs although I remember her from when she was a stage dancer. She mentioned that she had quit dancing for a while to tend bar at... I want to say it was Dante's at the time (this is the bar at the Turf) and that she had been called to come back to the new version but then it didn't open as planned or something. So, she decided to go back to dancing in the meantime.
