I did not find it funny

Sorry TTT did not laugh at that .. First of all I thought that guy as faking it .Although that seems to be the nature of turrets.. There also is that aspect of the turrets syndrome where a lot of young people get some compulsive habit .. to draw attention... Now I can see where this could become a unconscious mannerism.. triggered by some perception of exterior stimuli. That could be any thing.. that kind of make them want attention.. or express themselves but not knowing how to.
I actually find it quit fascinating.. examining the human mind . our perception , unconscious thought and how we manifest them on our exterior persona.
In fact a lot of people has some form of turrets .. but the behavior . is of a socially acceptable nature . and mannerism.. but never the less and uncontrollable compulsion. It could be just winking ..or playing with your ear You may say it is a nervous twitch. because you know that being uncomfortable is what kind of causes you to do it .Now when a person with severe turrets . goes off on one of there spasms .. physical .. or verbal.. it could easily be a similar reaction .. and this is their subconscious way of expressing it. Yes I am certain they don't want to react in this way .. but somewhere all the way of brain development . this is what it learnt to do to a certain . or multiple stimuli... I A little bit of a connection problem
Where most of us have some checks and balances .. in our mind that help us stop to do inaproriate action, of spontaneous out burst , because for one thing it is not socially acceptable . , it is embarrassing .. and there maybe some consequences to our action ..or acting out conscious or subconscious thoughts. there still is a fine line between how we handle it some time . All though they seem like normal action . when they become violet . abusive .. for no real reason .. i have to wonder if that is some form of turret also. definetly a wiring problem.

Tiffany, I've always enjoyed your posts. But laughing at people with Tourette's Syndrome is certainly not your finest piece of work.

Maybe we can laugh at women who have had a mastetcomy. They may only have one breast, or none at all, that's worth a laugh don't you think?

How about kids with cystic firbosis? They have trouble breathing and will likely die at an early age. Surely that's funny.

What about kids born with Down's Syndrome? They would be good to poke fun at since they look different than the rest of us.

Better yet, let's watch the Special Olympics and laugh at the "would be" athletes.

You get the point. I'm sure.

Don't go anywhere near the Mastectomy bit:mad: ....I will have laundry to air with anyone who is rude enouph to try.
well obviously you missed the fucking point of his post. Put your "anger" to better use.

Good job vv for putting that link in. The intolerance of some people this day and age is astounding. Would you laugh if that was your child, brother or sister? Try putting yourself in their shoes for just one hour.

It pisses me off to no end when people laugh at others who are different, whether it's physically or mentally. To all of you who do, just remember all it takes is a slip in the shower, car accident, stroke etc. and you will be in a similar place.

lighten up you guys

i thought tourettes man was very creative in his swearing"tit-fuck you with her ass!!" or whatever he babbled about.obviously he doesn't have it and he kind of reminded me of bubbles who i believe swears just as much if not more.the documentary i didn't find funny but just kept on watching tourette's man clips realizing it is absurd, childish comedy.sure they're sophomoric but humour is subjective.
i don't see a correlation between making fun of tourettes and joking about, down s.,cf or cancer.
do you watch south park?family guy?chappelle?mad tv?snl?millions do and they make fun of things much worse than tourettes.don't jump on tiff for her sense of humour.or mine.go rent team america and get on with the long weekend.

oh GEEZ

The reason I posted it was because OF COURSE the dude is faking it! It's just a really stupid thing to laugh at! I am shocked people actually take this post seriously! It's a weird dude in a frosted flakes shirt swearing! He is an actor who is JUST CALLING himself TOURETTES MAN. The great thing about life is you have choice....it made me laugh for reasons I don't know but if ya don't like it...turn it off! Got sent to me by a friend and it made me laugh. Sorry if it offended some of the more sensitive board members:confused:  It's just a silly utube...damn....

I certainly agree that I do not have a very refined sense of humour and I am hoping that one day that changes lol. I couldn't believe I would even laugh at that and want to watch it because it is soooo freakin stupid!

But one thing I AM NOT is a person who is in anyway making a STATEMENT about the mentally challenged or emotionally unstable community:confused:

I just thought...hey..it's perb...we are a bunch of people who are either escorts or guys who see escorts...some people may think it's funny..some may not. WHATEVER.

Let us not take ourselves too seriously nor be too judgemental. Sure this may not be funny to you and THANK GOD but there is no need to get the morality police on my ass cause I laugh at it:rolleyes: We are...and take a breath here...on an ESCORT REVIEW BOARD....which is hardly the place for people to want t impose their moral beliefs on one another about thinking a silly u-tube is funny.

Let's chill.
