💯 She’s in her mid to late 50s. I saw her a few months ago for a massage in James Bay Area. The place was nice and clean, but the massage and her attitude were awful. I ended up leaving halfway through the session because I didn’t feel any warmth or connection.

I don’t think the accent is the problem. I’ve seen a few French-speaking providers in Victoria, such as Bella Lea, Fleur, Juliette red head, Valéry Ravelle and they all have great chemistry and offer excellent service. Because YMMV? Because she's completely changed her menu? Because sometimes past reviews aren't indicative of the experience you will have with a SP? (I've lost count of how many times a "this girl is amazing" review was posted, saw them, and was disappointed & vice-versa) 🤷‍♂️

Past reviews (especially ones from before a significant menu change) are just one data point to use in figuring out if a SP is the right fit for you or not.

Haven't tried her mainly because of her restrictions but she is moving with the times and upfront about her new menu offering what most punters want so give her credit for that, iam definitely going to give her a try and if she isn't giving as advertised I will post my disappointment to save others, of she's awesome then best to keep that on the DL

LOL putting aside the slights about age (old-man-shakes-fist), that's totally fair and my message probably came across more adversarial than I intended. I don't disagree at all that reviews are an important part of deciding if a SP is worth pursuing and I absolutely take them into account.

My objection was more around the sentiment of "if there's a handful of old meh reviews then you shouldn't even consider her" sentiment/the piling on of folks in this thread who haven't even seen Helena since the menu change saying "don't bother".

Just to clarify, when I shared my thoughts, I was speaking from my own experience with this provider. I wrote a review back in 2022 because, honestly, I didn’t enjoy the session. I was spoken to like a student, and despite booking an hour, I left halfway the session.

She is still very clean and her place is immaculate which I appreciate, however everything else was bad as before. Too many restrictions. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your honesty, but I don’t think you can teach an old dog new tricks. It seems like some things just haven’t changed over time. She gets the guys by lowering her prices lol
