We just wanted to let you know that we are moving to a new website. This means that we will no longer be answering questions on PERB. We will finish answering the questions that have already been asked but will redirect all new questions to our new website at:

At our new website you have the ability to ask public and private questions. You can also make comments on other people's public questions and live chat with a nurse. All the information and resources have been updated and are easy to search for.

We have enjoyed being on PERB and wanted to thank everyone for making us feel welcome.

Will there be a sex work forum or a safe place for us to ask industry related questions? The whole reason Health Nurse is so amazing is because we're already around like minded people and are therefore more comfortable asking some of the questions we ask.

That is a really good point.

There will not be a specific sex work forum but we are hoping that everyone will feel welcome and that any question can be asked.

The site also allows us to put tags on questions and add content at any time. This means we can tag industry related questions so that they are easy to find or add new content.

Originally we thought it may be good to keep PERB separate but then we thought that the people on PERB ask some great questions and that this would be good information for other SP and clients who don’t come to PERB. Personally I think it is good information for everyone.

With the new site people can ask questions in a variety of ways e.g. private email, public questions or live chat. You can also leave a comment on any public question.

The site will be moderated by us. We will be able to delete any disrespectful comments or questions, so people feel safe asking any type of question.

Missy Mariposa would you feel comfortable asking questions on www.smartsexresource.com or do you think it needs something else to make people feel comfortable?

Your new site is great and I really hope that Perb members continue to contribute by asking questions and sharing experiences. Many of us are very knowledgeable and obviously more experienced than the average citizen, so we are the industry 'experts' in a very practical sense.

i will miss the Health nurse .. I thought it was a very important contribution to this board and put sexual health and getting tested .. on every one minds all the time Because it all ways showed up in the list of posting ..

Out of site , out of mind . and that is what will happen once again .. Having a form pacifically for the sex industry .. and being contributed too my those that are active in it and are aware of some of the health dangers .. makes the questions more current and purposeful

Perhaps an area just for questions from the sex industry .. might still be able to keep the interest of all ..

Have you placed links to the new health form on other boards that are related to the sex industry and sexual heath and even the adult dating and hook up sites

Thanks for the kind words, we enjoyed being on PERB and feel sad to leave.

The two of us that did Health Nurse are hoping that people will discuss things on the new site, we will be the main people that will be answering questions, doing the chat and adding new content.

I see what you mean, it is good to have the ongoing discussion to keep it current and on people’s mind. It is also good to get the experience from the community.

I wonder how we can keep this going when we leave, do you have any ideas?

We don’t have a specific forum for the sex industry but what we can do is tag each question so that when someone looks or searches they can see all the questions and comment on these questions.

We are in the process of placing information and links on other sex industry and sexual health websites. I would really appreciate it if people could send us info about what places would be a good to post a link. Just send us a private message.
