heading to the coast

Thinking of taking a week off from the daily grind and driving out to the coast, been thru Vancouver a couple of times in the summer, however never in December, any ideas of somethings to do or go and see, while out in lotus land? All responses appreciated..thanks all

all I can think of is:

FOOD, Vancouver has great restaurant after restaurant, search here for our obsession with food!
Storyeum(never been), Vancouver museum at the planetarium, concerts, theatre, Art gallery is hit & miss. Loads of shopping & sight seeing. People watching on Robson/Granville St. Many hot SPs & strip clubs. The beauty of Vancouver, you can easily hang out alone, its easy to meet ppl, very friendly city. Do you ski? Whistler is a fantastic place.
