I hope that's a misprint...seems a little excessive unless there was something said or written that the rest of us weren't privy to.2 months maybe but not 2 yrs. The Mods know HB40 is a pretty good dude. Sure he get's a lil lippy sometimes but who doesn't?
I don't always agree with HB40 but overall he seems like a decent guy that doesn't just stir up shit for the sake of stirring it up.

he confirmed it on the baby cow board today, and described his actions leading to his lil vacation.

The current ban to HB40 did not come from members of the moderation team. It appears to have originated from higher admins.
Having said this, we would've instigated a ban on this member ourselves if we had been given the opportunity.

Moot point as HB40 has advised that he is banned for 2 years and if the ban is from "higher admins", does not really matter.
It's really too bad. We've lost probably our most respected Edmonton area reviewer in HB40. I'll miss his intel, his reviews and yes, the way he kept those trolls in check.
This whole thing has been one sordid, sad mess. 2 years. God, on a board like this, that's almost forever.

Having been here when Hb first started on these boards. and Having helped him along the way, he will be missed.
2 years seems like a lot. He was always one to give great reviews, and boy did he do a lot of em.
too bad really. Perb is loosing out on a great contributer to the pooning cause.
