H.O.P.E. Okanagan has been supporting the safety of sex workers by the use of Bad Date Reporting since 2008. We would like your assistance in continuing to make our community a safer place. If you or anyone you know has experienced a Bad Date, you can report it and help ensure the safety of other women in your local community and throughout the Okanagan.
A “Bad Date” refers to any negative experience you’ve had while working that you want to warn others about. This could include feeling uncomfortable while on a date, someone stealing or refusing to pay, someone being uncooperative or time wasting, and any kind of verbal abuse or act of aggression or violence.
You can share a bad experience you’ve had while working through the H.O.P.E. Okanagan's website(see link below). The report is 100% anonymous and does not require you to submit personal details or contact information. If you are in need of more support and would like to leave your contact details, all details you provide will remain confidential.
By reporting and sharing your bad experiences we can become aware of the predators in our community and can help protect each other.
