Strip bars like No 5 could be a place to meet some interesting or eccentric people. It is open during the day as a restaurant that serves food so it is possible to meet someone there or networking for people in adult entertainment while sitting by the bar. I heard of recruiters who go there to offer girls jobs. It's been a long time since I been to Brandis but I remember men in suits handing out their business cards to dancers, which seems like a sleek way to give contact information without the chance of getting directly rejected. Have you made any friends or gotten to know any interesting characters from clubs before? or even the chance to spark a connection with a woman that you asked out later? ( stripper or customer)

what's your favorite? it's a good time when people are friendly. Also the rule for no taking photos seem to be blurred now in this age of smartphones. At Gallery I saw some strippers giving guys dirty looks if they catch them taking a photo. But they don't seem to mind other women taking photos or their own friends taking videos. It must be hard to enforce a blanket policy like that nowadays in strip clubs because sometimes it depends on who is taking the photo and whether anyone catches it

We were on gyno row, old buddy Al, was leaning into this one gal, egging her on, you know the drill after half a dozen beers.
Anyway, we got out and Al's right eye was tearing up something bad, matter of fact it was swelling up something awful. We were sober enough to know that something bad was happening so got him to the Lionsgate emergency. Hour later the doc comes out says Al is Ok but it took awhile to fish out all the crabs from his eye. Fuck. Still gives me fucking gleeps thinking about that.
So no I never got a date or networked at a strip club but Al sure took home a momento.

In some cultures you would take your clients there and drink together before sealing a deal

As an ex exotic dancer, I never networked with anyone I met in the clubs as they often were people just trying to make money off me in some way. I’m not sure you would want to network with people there unless you’re in the adult entertainment industry in some way though
As far as meeting an exotic dancer for seeing outside of the club, it’s not impossible but many dancers have a no dating customers rules. I broke that rule, dated someome became my now ex husband… the only time I broke that rule and I married an abusive gambling addict narcissist.
I have known of both dancers and providers who have met partners while working and it has worked out. But don’t go in to a strip club expecting to meet friends or someone to date. It’s a place of business, so respect that.
