I for one will admit to being too stupid to understand what is going on with this show? I cannot follow the time travels, adding something like 10 characters per show and storylines that just plan suck. What in the world happened to the show since its awesome season 1? Its was so fresh and new with ideas. I gave up on it just this week after Peter's father came back. There are so many people to follow that its just crazy.

I love adventure shows but lately Hollywood has been nothing but clunkers. Prison Break is shit. However Jan. 21 the best damm thing to happen to TV is back. LOST!! is back.

There is a God:p

I'm still sticking with it, but it is a Desperate Housewives (another guilty pleasure I have given up on, despite all the fine T&A that used to be on the show) type move on the part of the writers, show the future and then take us back to show us how it got to that point. I've been equally disappointed, but keep coming back hoping for that magic of the first season, yet it hasn't happened. Maybe lightning doesn't strike twice!! I find very few dramas on TV catch and hold my interest. And, as noticed with the number of cancellations in the last few weeks, I am not the only one who tunes these out first. It seems the sit-com is king.

I completely agree!
I used to watch Heroes religously. It used to be normal people with extraordinary abilities.
Now it has become far too complicated and off the wall for me to care about anymore.
it's actually quit simple: normal people with extraordinary abilities trying to fuck each other up. very similar to the real world: normal people with ordinary abilities trying to fuck each other up.:D
Leading to last comment LOL.

Even thou the current storyline seems like it's going all over the place; it's still entertaining to watch. Definitely the first season was great; where story direction was to stop the exploding man. It's nice and focused direction to that goal.

There was a rumour/report that some of the original writers were fired; probably the good ones.

To the right
I don't watch any of those programs, for me the only thing entertaining on TV is the dancing shows. The girls are hot, the judges crack me up, dancing is sooo erotic and even some of the guys are sexy(Max  ), plus Cloris Leachman was hilarious this season.

I think being able to dance like that is the easiest way to attract women. I had my first sexual experience dancing, well not while dancing technically but it sure led to more. ;)

Adam Wainwright? Do you mean Adam Monroe? He's the only Adam I remember from Heroes, and he's dead - had his regenerative ability sucked out of him, and aged 400 years in a few seconds. Too bad too, he was one of my favorite characters.

Honestly, I'm still watching it every week, and I still find it to be one of the best shows on TV. Am I loving it as much as I was in season 1, and as much as I loved Hiro's adventures in feudal Japan? No, but I'm still hooked.

Best Show Ever!!!

*Bump*

Okay, up until this thread, I never watched even one episode of Heroes before. I thought it was going to be another, "Mutant X" kind of a show, so had no use for it. Based on some of the comments, I decided to watch the pilot, skeptical of what the show would be like.

I watched the pilot and every episode right up until present time. The first season blew my fucking mind!!! By far, my absolute favourite series to date! What an amazing imaginative and suspenseful story line!

The second and third seasons weren't quite as good, but I still really enjoyed them and will be waiting faithfully to watch upcoming episodes!

Thanks for bringing this one up guys!

I have also been watching since season 1 episode 1. The first season was excellent except for the disappointment that was the season finale. All the build up to that final sequence in the plaza with all these characters with special powers; then poof, we get a crappy 1 minute fight between Peter and Sylar. Then they gave us this great character called Adam Monroe in season 2 only to kill him off this season by having Arthur Petrelli literally sucking him dry. The writing is often uneven, the acting is at times wooden and there are too many plots going on. But I am still watching, barely.

Yeah, I was really disappointed when that happened... Adam Monroe was my favorite character. I loved the whole Hiro in the past storyline with him in it, and then it was so awesome to see him still alive in the present day as one of the biggest villains. And then Arthur Petrelli takes his powers away and all of the aging that he didn't do over those hundreds of years catches up to him, and poof, he's dead :( Oh well, I guess the same thing would have happened when the eclipse made everyone loose their powers anyway.

That kind of threw me too. Why that much of an AWESOME build-up just to have Sylar calmly stabbed with a sword, then a quick little exchange with Peter? I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for a finale that would compliment the big build-up, then just sat there thinking there has to be more, that can't be it

Season one really raised expectations for season two. I still like the show, but so much drama and suspense has dwindled. They need to get back to basics. That show, "Friday Night Lights" did the same thing. Great first season, then settle into mediocrity. That's too bad.

Its getter much much better last couple of weeks. The focus and pace is more like the 1st season, pretty close sometimes.
