I'm looking forward to getting more enjoyment from this interesting hobby. I find the biggest challenge has been breaking through the niceties of the texting to determine who is real or not, and getting around the annoying requests for a deposit. Any tips would be appreciated.
happy new year too - here's to a better 2023
A couple of things I keep in mind with LeoList is to look at the photos and the text they use.
Good signs would be:
- Photos look like it was shot with a selfie camera or her friend took the pictures.
- photos from a spa or agency website
- it's at a hotel you recognize the decor (check travel sites to see interiors)
- Ad mentions things like "extras" or "party friendly" (be careful, that might mean more than you want)
Bad signs
- Things like power outlets or outdoor signs are clearly not in North America
- Photos are all different kinds, and the lady doesn't even look the same - might be a picture stealer
- over-promises, basically too good to be true
- exact address in the ad, independents, don't do that, possibly a "revenge" ad
- "just 18" or something similar, police stings are not common in Canada, but they do happen
- Obviously, avoid advertising phrases like "No C" or anything similar - this isn't the board for that kind of stuff
