Respect for people, even if you don't like them.
She told me" if you wanna be a fisherman, you better learn how to cook" She taught me self sufficiency. Forever grateful for that ❤

For one. The whole potty train thing was pretty important. Besides that I’m with you on the compassion and care for others, regardless of being a high profile person or the outcast and the down and out.
You can't trust women.
My mom always said “life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.”
All of the important things I know came from the many wonderful women in my life. My Grannie could do ANYTHING by herself. She taught me independence. My Mom nurtured my creativity, taught me gratitude, and to appreciate the beauty in everything. My dancing gals and music pals feed my soul, they show me that there is room for every woman in any space we want to occupy, we aren’t in competition with each other. And all the sluts I love so fiercely, they taught me to grow a thick skin, grow my savings, don’t waste my own time on timewasters, and don’t count any money that isn’t already in my hand.
