Happy Family day! Doing anything special for it?

Canadians sure like to have a lot of radom holidays lol, but it is good to have an excuse to take the day off.
How will you spend your day off?
I'm just hoping my local bakery is open so I can get my snacks

Same number of stat holidays here as the US, just without as many political labels. e.g. next weekend is Family Day in most of Canada but it's President's Day in the US. (Starting next year BC's Family Day will be the same week as elsewhere in Canada.)

Hey Nicole , yup any excuse ot get out of working on a sunny day , works for me ....same with the bakery, I just cant wait til Valentines day ... I am getting Cake today!!!

I didn't even know it was Family Day until around 5 PM when I was out with the dog, encountered an acquaintance with his dog, and enquired why he wasn't at work (the person, not the dog).
