anyone with any cool pot recipes out there?
Pot can be added to almost any food with either fat or alcohol content. The fat or alcohol is necessary for the cannabinoids to be available to the body. A recipe like peanut butter cookies is ideal. Milk (not skim) or pudding works too.
A good way to prepare herbs for cooking with is to make sure your materials are very dry, then pop into the blender on pulse for a few seconds. Pick out all the stemmy, woody material, then mix it into your fatty food of choice. Or, you can mix the "flour" with butter, and just use the butter in your recipes, or on a sandwich or whatever.
Word to the wise: freeze whatever butter you aren't going to use fairly quickly. You do not want to have the experience I did.... lost 4 oz's mixed in 4 lbs of butter to mold, in the fridge.
One thing that people should be aware of when eating the herb is that it
is possible to overdose when eating it. It's not going to kill you, but if you eat too much it is not fun, and can even be pretty scary... racing heart rates, extreme paranoia, hallucinations... If you're smoking, about the worst that will happen if you smoke too much is that you'll go to sleep (as long as you're not also drinking booze - that's just nasty).
