I actually find Hamilton an intresting choice to put an NHL Franchise in, now I know the Waterloo/Kitchener region is booming and Hamilton is a big area, but I can't see the National Hockey League ever putting a 2nd team in Southern Ontario, especially in Hamilton, as Gary Bettman would put a team in Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Houston, Cleveland, San Antonio, Orlando, Memphis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Oklahoma City before going into Hamilton. Now for sure Hamilton would support the Nashville Predators better then the citizens of Nashville is showing, actually I find it a joke that the Predators average 13,000 a game when we all know that numerous of those tickets are given away for free, and that it isn't a hockey market, as the Titans and Volunteers own that city when it comes to sports. The city of Hamilton also would need a new 18,000 seat areana as the Copps Coliseum, is outdated and does not have the suites to accomodate an NHL franchise, Ticketmaster.ca is actually taking deposits for the Predators if Hamilton secures the franchise. I'd rather see the Predators in either Seattle or Winnipeg.

They'll do a lot better then Nashville that's for sure. Now we need to get Atlanta to move to Winnipeg and Phoenix to move to Halifax.

Bettman would put a franchise in Anchorage, Alaska if they came up with the buy in fee.

Won't happen. Toronto, Ottawa, and Buffalo will all balk at another team in Southern Ontario. Winnipeg would be great, but unlikely. The Pred's will stay in Nashville, until some city offers a sweet enough deal.

And Seattle? No $%#&*& Way! They can't even take care of the Sonics, there's no way an NHL team would survive.

Any move would have to be west to west or east to east, none of the owners wants re-alignment.

Maybe Toronto will end up in the Western Conference again, if Winnipeg gets the team.
Toronto wont let it happen-too far to travel out of its own universe.
I also dont like the prospect of having to see them play here more than once every three years.

Nope they'll keep the Preds in the West and keep them in the Central division. The Red Wings are are supposed to be in the East but play in the West for balance so the Hamilton Preds would remain in the West and stay in the division they're in.
