funny enough ...

over here in victoria the #1 best burgers as voted for by the public is ...

White Spot

even the food critic after trying four places recommended by word of mouth picked White Spot ...

can't say much for the ambience or decor but the burgers seem to be good ...

Burger Recommendation

How about Wendy's. I recommend the Big Bacon Classic, and a frosty for desert.

:p

Best burger joint!

How about Wally's on Kingsway? The burgers are actually quite good and the milkshakes are extra thick and creamy. On Kingsway between Nanaimo and Rupert.

Well shit I'm fresh outta ideas. :p

I guess wet spot. I've been to that Wally joint on Kingsway. One word of advice if you go there....get it to go.

Actually Red Robbin is not bad either, all you can drink pop, and all you can eat fries.

I always like the burgers at the Cactus Club. Never figured out why people rave about Wally's, tried it a couple times but never enjoyed it.

I wouldn't recommend Wally's. It's ok... but not great.

White Spot
The Tommahawk *very popular AND different, North Vancouver*

what's diff about hamberger mary?
It's famous for its real old fashioned shakes, served in the stainless steel mixing container.

I've never had a shake at the Tomahawk in North Van, but I'll second the motion that their burgers are awesome.

It's way to freekin hot to be hauling topsoil. Suddenly I could kill for a shake in the stainless steel container.

Another burger recommendation

How about White Spot's Triple O's at Robson and Thrulow? I recommend the double double combo. Their thick fries are great. I don't know if they have milkshakes though.
