If the rumour is true, it would be a very dangerous place to visit. The licensed MPs in Winnipeg pay their fees and keep a low profile. A place licensed as a hair salon but also providing unlicensed "alternate" services in the back is looking to get busted. If you are present when LE busts the place, you will be arrested. And, as Ricky always said to Lucy.... you're gonna have some 'splainin' to do.

I heard about this place from a very reliable source today. The address was not mentioned, and in a work setting I did not feel comfortable asking my (female) source the address or name of the establishment. It is a front for prostitution, and it uses recent immigrants who are being exploited. She said that the authorities are aware of this place. If anyone knows of this place and is frequenting it, be very very careful.

The fact they are using recent immigrants is terrible. What a way to get a feel for our city.
If I had the info, I'd call the cops myself. I don't believe young people should be exploited to this point.

It made me think about a movie I watched on TV not long ago, can't remember the name. But holy these girl's were treated like trash. That I agree is something that should be reported.
I dont think it is an urban legend. There was a hair salon in edmonton busted in the last few years. but they also got charged with human trafficing, since 2 of the women were locked in the back when closed and here illegally. I think there is one or 2 in every city in western canada. ussually run by asians. Honestly. the right thing to do is report it and get it closed down so the woman dont have to be abused. just my feelings.. I think being an SP should be a choice not forced.
I'll believe it when I see it. We still haven't seen a speck of evidence that this place exists, so until I hear otherwise, I'm personally going to file this one under the same categories as the lock ness monster, the alleged cameras installed at Executive Bath, and whatever office gossip I have to listen to throughout the day.

There was a documentary on the CBC's Passionate Eye about the life of a Thai bar girl; her story was so tragic. It made me especially sad because the subject looked like a woman who I was in love with at the time.

I see on Craigslist today there is a hair salon called "HOTHEADS" on Pembina... posted in the wrong location or trying to get the SP clientel....or maybe they offer hothead. could this be the one?? lol
