No kidding. I was watching the clouds from my apartment window. Pretty ominous looking. Most of it missed me or is missing me at the moment. All I got was a little heavy rain.
So much rain so far this July. My mom and dad live off just a man made lake in Sherwood Park and the homes on the shore on the other side have had some water from the lake creep into their backyards.

Watched a funnel cloud form and then collapse north of the city at about 4:30. It only lasted about 30 seconds and didn't get very close to the ground, but was still pretty neat to watch.

I hear the storm created a new attraction in West Edmonton Mall... a waterfall. Water was running down from the upper levels and the mall had to be evacuated. Crazy or what!!!!

Hahaha, Mikey. My dad actually did some of the electrical wiring in West Ed for Phase I and II. I always remember he would always be coming home madder than a wet hen. 
If I'm not mistaken , the same people built the highrises at West Edmonton Village, where a balconey fell off of the 14th floor and a section of the parkade collapsed.
Driving back to Calgary was a pain. Took close to an hour just getting out from the westend. Also whitemud was shut down so I had to detour through downtown to calgary trail.
a what kind of stop RSF? A rest stop? And I thought that you stopped around there to see Mel... I cannot imagine that being restfull at all. She is way too energetic for that.Right Said Fred said:Should of stopped at Penthouse for a rest stop.
I did try to stop by PH but Mel is always busy. Guess you need to make an appointment with her if you want to see her. She will be one of ladies I will see next time I am up.
