If you get ticked into bait and switch or maybe not is it normal to haggle. Last escort I saw demanded 40$ more than what we agreed upon on the phone. Basically if you try to negotiate over the phone they will most likely stop talking by face to face and they see the money right there it might be a different story. To strip the OP's post to basics: it's not normal to haggle. Most independent providers will not tolerate any negotiations of their posted rates, & make this clear in their advertising. Therefore, trying to haggle face to face because maybe it's a different story once she sees the money? SUPREMELY disrespectful. If she cut you off within 7 minutes of starting your appointment, you may have done or said something to her that caused her to feel that she would not be physically safe with you, or that her boundaries would not be respected. If I felt threatened, disrespected or unsafe, I would ask you to leave. If you persisted, I would have you removed, forcibly if necessary.

I could really care less what you and your cliche think of me but by now my board reputation and reputation as a good client supercedes having to defend NOT stating my view on violence. By not calling out the OP with regards to violence in no way implicates me as supportive of his actions.

Walk away without any compensation when faced with an upsell or a bait and switch. If he had stuck to those two points this whole thread would now be moot.

I think the pricing process is often a bit more nuanced than the ladies posts suggest. When a lady states her price on a website or an ad and states that the price is firm and no negotiations then that is pretty clear and should be respected. However, I have been faced many times with the situation where ladies offered to "haggle or negotiate." This most commonly occurs with extras. This may happen when the lady brings up the topic of extras or I ask if something is available and at what cost. The lady states the price and I may accept or decline. If I decline I have experienced the situation where the lady revised her price to see if I might be attracted to a lower rate. I have not suggested lower rates lest the ladies take it as a lowering her value as an individual or take offense in any way.

My core point is that negotiating may take place at the initiation of the lady and it need not cause the end of the world.

I think hank moody has it right so don't know why everybody is all worked up except of course miss hunter stirs the pot by calling us ballless which I initially resented as these issues have been well dealt with in previous threads. On reflection I would say that is not a good reason to ignore it now it is something that will always be a danger for the women in the industry and we should do whatever we can whenever it crops up
