Gotta agree. I've spoken with some inside people at Costco, and they tell me that even though it is not an openly published return policy, for obvious reasons, you can return anything, anytime, as long as you have the original receipt. If you don't have the receipt, they will give you a store credit. Costco dictates very strict terms from their suppliers, that extends even to the return policy. In other words, returns are covered by the supplier, and if they want to continue to business with Costco, they must honour it, indefinitely. Suppliers see this as a mere cost of doing business, so overall it is a small expense when weighed against the volumes handled.
