Boy, Penguins played well tonight - they just ground the pace down and drained all the passion out of the game.

And whatever cracks they showed, Fleury was solid.

They keep playing like this, Habs will be hard-pressed to win another game :(
They showed why they are the champs tonight. Halak played another great game and as long as he is doing that the Habs will always have a chance.

yeah... but you can't win if you don't score and the Canadiens couldn't do that tonight. They played a good first 10 minutes and a few chances on the power play in the 3rd, but not much else.
Pittsburgh's playing tonight reminded me of New Jersey (c. 2000-2003).... and that ain't good.

Your right sonoman. Getting only 18 shots on net isn't going to win you many hockey games.

It is not a good thing to let the Frenchmen near the Cup. They MUST be driven out before or within the first round. Too many times have I seen them come flying in so low in the standings to rip it off and run back to Quebec with it and claiming it as their birthright!!

Too many times!!!!

But this year is a year of the Shark. They finally figured it out and Joe Pavelski doesn't hurt.
I must say I like your tongue in cheek, BUT, could you please tell me how many time the Habs have flown in "under the radar". Wait I will give you a break, and give you the info, because I seriously doubt you would have the answer.

Of the 24 cups they have won, and while I hate to admit it I have been alive for 17 of them, and out of these I can only say 2 were really under the radar 1986 and 1993. In 1971 they upset Boston at their peak with Ken Dryden in nets. Of the other 14 cups, they were in the top 3 seeds. I don't think those can be reffered to under the radar.

Get you info correct before you post.

Ya, I am a Habs fan, but Vancouver is my #1 team.

That was a great game and a Fantastic night, it was a party all along St Catherine's street, drivers honking and screaming over le bleu blanc et rouge ils sont dangereux!

How many times do we have to win this cup anyway! :S

Great game! The Canadiens have gotten better each game these playoffs... If Halak is on his game, and the rest of the team plays as well as it did tonight (eg. penalty kill), they stand a good chance of eliminating Pittsburgh Wednesday.

The biggest problem will be playing on the road, but I don't know how big of a factor that should be.

Awesome win - boy what a return for Spacek - and Cammy keeps rolling along.

That goal by Max Lapierre is one for the highlight reels.

Also nice spoiled brat cheap shot by Crosby at the final buzzer.

Pens will be gripping their sticks awfully tight on Wednesday night.

I called it all the way. I said there is just something about this Habs team I believe in.....
If you believe that.....you'll believe anything:p

Outmanned, outgunned but they never gave up. Halak made the big saves when he had to, clutch goals by Ginota and especially Cammalleri, and the shot blocking machines on their backend got them through to the next round.
