I didn't have any cravings to smoke or other ill effects. Quitting coffee was WAY harder and caused more physical problems.
Yep, caffeine is quite a bit more addictive, with serious witdrawal symptoms.
I was only able to quit caffeineated coffee only after a bad flu that kept me from drinking it for several days, and after that the headaches were gone.
Of course nicotine is even worse.
The only drawback with MJ is the harshness on the throat when smoked via the most common methods.
I'm glad you're a smoker -- it's good for what ails you.

2 years ago everyone one at work went on one of those stupid diets were you drink hot water with pepper and lemon. I figured I would try it, only thing is they told me I had to give up my smokes and XL triple triple timmys(6-8 a day)

I made it half way into day 3 and had to go downstairs for something , when I returned to my office.. there on my desk was an astry with a lit cigarette and a steaming hot XL triple triple timmies and a hand made card asking me to please never quit either smoking or coffee again..... signed by my staff (everyone of them) I think I may have been a little miserable

Pot for me was easy to quit , still remember the day.. same day my son was born(13yrs). As Hifi said the only thing pot is a gateway for is the fridge and couch.
