reason? Buono is an idiot! should have started Printers and worn out the argos defense and then sent in the surgeon to cut em to pieces.
now they got dickie pegged and printers doesn't have the maturity to close ...

Un-effing-believable that not only would they run the play clock twice, but that O'Mahony would miss that 22-yarder.... Buono should've just been happy with the one-point covnersion..

it was obvious that BC was going to lose the moment dickinson started ... he is a good closer but not as good for the rest of the game and he and buono think he is ...
should have gone with printers for at least the first quarter ... pull him if he got in trouble or injured ...

Short punts and kickoffs had T.O. in great field position every time. They'll have to get a kicker for next year and haven't had a good one since Lui lefty.
Also, what's with the zone defense and poor secondary?
If this was their strategy for defense and special teams, they were clearly out-coached. They were really weak on both against the Riders, it was almost identical, and got plain lucky, the better team did not win that game.

I will say this ... you've gotta LOVE Mike "Pinball" Clemmons. He is the best thing going in the CFL.

On the other side of the ball, I thought Wally Buono was classless in his words to his players, the media, and the fans in attendance. True NO CLASS ACT. Losing couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

Pinball doesn't want to coach and has made repeated requests to be moved up ... it will be good for him but maybe not so much for the team ... he is a class act.Quimby said:
buono is an ego-maniac who thinks he knows better than what is obvious to the rest of the world! the Printers start/Dickinson finish has been a great combo and very effective ... gets the whole team moving and excited and then in comes the calm direction of the veteran.
buono screwed that up with starting dickinson and not giving printers even one minute to play in a game he might have won.
maybe we will luck out and dave and wally will be in toronto or ottawa next season.

Printers is the league MVP and takes the team to the Grey Cup and Buono doesn't even let him see one play? Unbelievable. Just from a PR perspective the fans (especially BC's) love this guy. Sure there were mistakes in coverage and O'Mahoney's punting sucked, but starting Dickenson was the reason they lost.
