Great Plumber Needed!

I have a toilet with a hairline crack that needs to be replaced. Anyone know a good plumber who could do the job (Install and take old toilet away).

What should I expect cost wise? I'm in Vancouver (Victoria Drive). Any recommendations on fixtures?

I'm not a DIY guy...

I've always felt like I've been dealt with fairly by the guys at Norfolk Plumbing and Electrical Supplies on Victoria Drive. They're between 34th and 35th. They're actually a plumbing and heating supplies shop but he deals with a lot of plumbing and heating repair guys and will recommend one for a job.

I am far from handy at home repair, but I managed to replace a toilet fairly easily by following instructions from the "usual suspect" home-repair sites that came up on google. The only mistake I made was not having help to hold it while fitting it down in place.

My other toilet has a hair-line crack in the bowl that has not changed in years...can barely see it if it is well-scrubbed. Are you sure you need to replace it?

If you decide to do it yourself(it's pretty easy) just make sure that you don't over tighten any bolts on the new bowl, other wise you might be dealing with another hairline crack.

REPLACE THE TOILET NOW! Before it is too late...lol

Just from my own experience when my whole house flooded, was due to my toilet tank breaking open. It had what we call a hairline crack, well It cracked more (probably due to cold weather) I am not sure but it cracked it broke and it filled my whole house in a matter of just over 12 hours I was gone with about 2 inches of water!

That's pretty much the scenario I've been told could happen. Doing it seems straightforward enough, but because I live in a condo and not being a DIY guy I prefer just to pay someone to do it and save the sweat.
