Listening to the CBC Radio 1 news this evening and they had a report about the sex trade in Germany during the World Cup. It appears that reports of 40,000 SP's descending on Germany are false. However there is one brothel (I think it's in Berlin) that doesn't have 11 SP's nor stories about 11 SP's but ELEVEN STORIES OF SP'S! Imagine a brothel that's 11 stories tall, and this isn't just for the World Cup that's what the brothel is all of the time.

Since we seem to have the grammar police out in different threads, I thought I could be the first to correct you - it's actually "Gott im Himmel"!

The high-rise/apartment complexes that house SPs in Germany are called Eros Centres. They're similar to the apartments in the red light district in Amsterdam, but often much larger and without the "window girls" advertising their wares.

Although I've been to Europe several times, I've never tried those types of places. Locals I've spoken to confirm most of what I've read about them - service is not very good, it's often mechanical and it's easy to get ripped off. There are much nicer places to visit in Germany - called FKK Clubs. Search that term on various boards or the internet and you'll see what I mean. Many of them have lots of gorgeous women and club rules in many of them require the women to be in the nude. You pay a simple entrance fee (something like 60 euros) and can then enjoy the eye candy and the premises (pool, spa, sauna, tennis courts, hot tubs, buffet lunch/dinner, etc..) and usually all without obligation to have sex with anyone. And if you do, it's often 50 euros for half an hour.

Or so they tell me..... :D :D

It's "Gott im Himmel" ... not "Gott ein Himmel".

It's been a long long time since I read a GI Combat comic book, especially the stories of the Haunted Tank. I picked up a few German words in the cartoon clouds with the English translation below.
