Sunday night marked my annual return to working the midnight shift for four and a half months and one of the many benefits is being able to listen to Coast to Coast AM for four hours. The original host of the program, Art Bell, now only works Sunday nights, broadcasting from his home in Parumph, Nevada. I forget the name of his guest this week but the guy is a "futurist" and he and Art were talking about artificial intelligence, robots and the like.
Not surprisingly, the subject of virtual sex came up and the guest talked about some of the possibilities that apparently are just around the corner from becoming reality in that area and, in conjunction with the robots theme, he mentioned a site that offered some rather amazing products. Of course Art's millions of listeners stampeded to the site and crashed it but since I was at work, I didn't even try to check it out. In fact it totally slipped my mind until this morning when I thought I'd take a peek. Yowser!!!! These sex dolls appear to be so real that they are almost scary.
The site is www.realdoll.com
They aren't inflatable but rather solid which I presume means they are shipped "whole", i.e. no assembly required. Can you even imagine having to go to Canada Customs to claim your package?
