I've noticed recently that some Perberts are using Google to search images from ERSList in the hope of identifying fakes.

I've been using TinEye for this purpose for several years. To satisfy my curiousity, I did a little test to compare the efficiency of the two choices.

I used an ERSList ad with several pictures in it and copied and pasted the URL http://www.erslist.com/female-escorts/metro-vancouver/burnaby_newwest_hot_asian_girls_vip_services_gfe_bbbj-179275 into the search box.

Google's response was

Your search - http://www.erslist.com/female-escorts/metro-vancouver ... - did not match any image results.

Suggestions:

Make sure that all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.

But TinEye produced a page with several images, with one being able to click on any of them to see if there were any "finds".

So, I welcome feedback from pooners experienced with both, as to which appears to suit our purpose better.

TinEye site address is http://www.tineye.com/

If I'm reading this correctly, you are searching the url for the ad itself. I did a Google Image Search on the first image in the ad itself (Chrome has the option in the drop down menu that appears when I right click on the image). I got about 40 results, one of which was a soft core site of asian images and a few links to other escort ad sites from Kuala Lumpur. I would suggest searching the url of the specific image instead of the url of the ad.

Neither tineye or Google Image Search is foolproof and over time, I have noticed that tineye will sometimes catch an image that google might miss but overall, I've found Google Image Search to be the more reliable tool.

Hope this helps, Sonny.

Edit to note: Cute girl, by the way!
