Sorry to disappoint, but still here.
But for a while that morning I thought it was really happening. I heard loud rumblings and shaking from above and thought it was starting with an earthquake. Not a huge surprise living here.
But, then I remembered that I had a crew of six workers tearing off my roof. Close call, but hardly the real thing. True story.

Is anybody else just a little bummed that it didn't end? I mean how many of these false alarms about the end of the world does a guy have to live through?! I was starting to feel kind of like Steve Buscemi at the end of Armageddon... only I don't have a hot blonde, eastern european block stripper to come home to!

Perhaps if those hockey people ever settle their squabbles, and I can get back up there, we will meet. And, if I can figure out where Chilliwack is located. It that the same as Coquitlam? I already know that next trip I will be seeing an ATF Korean girl in Coquitlan.

Surely you don't really let hockey or the lack thereof dictate whether you get to Vancouver to dally with some ladies?
Come to think of it, without hockey, a lot of guys in Canada probably have some extra pooning money in their pockets this year.
Just watch out for ice bombs on the Port Mann Bridge.... It's a lovely drive through some of BC's best agricultural farmland.
