Among all the reporting I heard on the matter, it was noted that the Mayans were in the Pacific time zone, so the hour of our doom is supposed to be at the time of the winter solstice this evening (around 3 AM ish). Of course, uncleg has already noted the flaw in the Mayan Calendar itself, so we might still have a few hours Friday night to party!
