Good Spankers in Vancouver?

There just doesn't seem to be an SP in Vancouver who offers a really intense session where spanking is the central activity. I've tried several SP's in the past year, some who advertise on this site, without finding "the one".

There was a posting on here a while back - "Spanking Redux" and one of the posters says he/she thinks there are maybe 10 SPs in North America who can deliver a decent - read intense, mind-controlling, power transferiing, spanking session. I'm coming to the conclusion that none of those 10 are here in Vancouver.

One I haven't tried is listed as "Vivacious Older Lady" who's been advertising in GS for a few years now. The ad goes on to say "Will administer spankings...toys, vids", etc. The interesting thing about the ad is that spanking is so prominently listed, so I was thinking maybe this would be worth a try. Just not sure about the "older" part.

Anyone have any tips they'd care to share?

I personally think I'm a pretty good spanker as I was trained in my early days by very picky bottoms, HOWEVER, I feel that for over-the-knee (OTK) spanking my lap may feel too small to some guys. I only weigh 98 pounds, there's only so much real estate for you to lay on.

I did go for a session with the "Vivacious Older Lady" about 10 years ago. As the ad suggests, it's just physical spanking, no roleplay, so there won't be the psychological angle the OP might be looking for. She's an interesting woman to talk to, but must be at least 60 now.

If you don't like OTK, Miss T has a spanking bench she puts to good use. She put me on it when she first got it. The padding was a little to hard at first, but now that has been used a few times and broken in, it's very comfortable being on it. She has an extensive selection of paddles and canes, some of which you can see in this picture. Although Vancouver is not known for its spankaholics, I would say Ms. Veronika Harley in E. Van or Ms. Nina in Poco have that quick stinging motion where you think "fuck that hurts--wonder if I can take another". Having said that, I can see why the Dom might want to bind the sub as a way of emphasizing who has control. But the pure sub ought not to require bondage, IMO

Other than SSC, I never did believe in the protocol that some regard as a bible for BDSM, or even in the labels - top, bottom, dom, sub, switch, whatever. As a spanking enthusiast i can give you some name south of the border if you contact me directly. One in particular i know has made some trips to Vancouver. but typically she will fly in for a couple days to see one person.

I did have a session with Nina when she visited Calgary and was very receptive to providing what you seek; but i wouldn't label her as someone where spanking is a central focus. She was a good spanker and added alot more encouragement.

I find that alot of novice sp's thing that an intense spanking session means real hard. when it is as much the head game as the physical. I'm not sure there is alot of skill needed to beat someones bottom. On the other hand someone that is firm, and can add a bit more can encourage you to take alot more than you think you can is talented. If your asking for it and amazing yourself along the way at what she is giving, she is a real pro.

What would I consider to be an intense session? I'm challenged when it comes to writing out what's on my mind, but I'll give it a try...

Well, it would require some role playing where the spanker was just as bound to do the spanking as the recipient was bound to receive it. Both would "have no choice", existentially speaking. If the theme is punishment, and the spanker is imaginative in finding excuses for delivering more punishment for infractions incurred during receipt of the original sentence, so much the better. The recipient shouldn't know how much more there is to come, either, only that it's likely going to get worse. That's entirely the decision of the one delivering the punishment and part of the psychological side. But since spanking would be the central theme, it can easily be strung out, e.g. with pauses. After all, anticipation is a strong element in psych. control. I'm not big on humiliation, but I'll admit that it's an important part of a good spanking session. For instance, being told to undress in stages during the session and being spanked in a variety of revealing positions is a lot of fun.

Unfortunately I haven't really gotten close to a session like the one I describe here, except for once, in Toronto. My experience in Vancouver has been mostly unsatisfactory; the SP lures you with great promises, but in the end the session is rushed, the spanking mechanical and the SP gets on with what they really prefer doing in the first place. I think the reason for this is that most of the SPs I've met don't really like administering a spanking and the mainstream client also is only interested in it, if at all, like an Hor D'oeuvre. Just a taste along the way to the main course.

I agree that anyone can give a beating, but a good spanker requires a lot of skill, from how to properly warm up a bottom (a lot of people don't know how to do it properly) to aftercare (a little TLC is a must after a good whipping) and a whole lot of stuff in between. I've had a couple of dommes take me much further than I would have thought. To get there, they needed to mix intensity with some softer, sensual play and a whole lot of verbal play.

My best spanking session was not in Vancouver... but I figure everyone visits Toronto on occasion so I'll post the details.

It was with Mistress Rattan a few years ago (web site is the same as her name). The session started with the usual conversation about likes and dislikes, limits, experience, and a safeword.
