Good pubs to meet women for older single guys

Hey guys, I haven't been much of a pub guy, so I just wanted your take on what good pubs are around town for a guy in his mid 30s - mid 40s to go out and meet women? What's a place with a good social atmosphere, some decent looking women and possibly a dance floor too? I'm not a big dancer, but alot of women enjoy that. I'm past the age of going to night clubs now, so I'm just wondering what is a good alternative.

IF you just want to meet women here is an idea .
I had a job once where I would meet lots of women at least three times a week women would ask me to go home with them and sometimes offer me money for my services . Which I always refused As it was against the safety policy of the place I worked at . Sadly the women in question where not that attractive and they where not interested in sex It was usually to help them get the fridge or furniture in the house . I worked in a retail store where I helped customers load their vehicles. Just make shure you have a strong back. Look for places that sell lumber and furniture and large heavy items or stores that deliver .


Though i doubt if your the guy working for IKEA that sets up the bed . your going to have an attractive young women who wants you to help test out the bed after is put together that only happens in porn not in real life.

Dont get me wrong, prices are still about half of what they are at home, but and I wont call Thailand a 3rd world country, but its still a 2nd world country. After a 20 hour or so flight I am starting to find the value just isnt there anymore. Been here a month and it is slow, 2 hotels I stayed at, half full, and this is the peak of peak season.

Well speaking from a 25 year olds perspective I personally when im interested in someone and if theres a connection between us it usually happens on the 5th or 6th date. But it also depends on the person. My last gf we didnt sleep together until we had been hanging out for 3 months but thats because she specifically told me she really liked me a lot and wanted to get to know me better and made it clear she wanted to be exclusive with me. So I didn’t mind waiting the build up made the sex much better. Basically if a guy likes you it doesnt matter how long it takes. If you go into dating someone expecting them to put out after a certain amount of time it ends in disaster.

One. I cannot remember a date in the last ten years that did not end in sex. Mind you I am in my fifties and I find women more open and honest about sex now.

For meeting women at a bar, I would expect to meet women who are looking for someone to have fun or hook up with. I'd like to meet the right person eventually, but at the same time you need to have your needs satisfied to pass the time.

With the lack of reply or response to this topic, I wonder if guys on this forum aren't even interested in trying to meet women and they are just content to see SPs for those needs. I know of one guy who has told me he has completely given up on attempting to date or meet women and will just rely on SPs. Kind of a sad state of reality in my opinion. Or maybe other guys on here are just in a relationship with a significant other and then see SPs on the side.

A lot of guys are going MGTOW or Black pill now (like red pill/PUA, just more nihilistic and hopeless). Some guys probably just use SP, some just pump and dump, or a combination of the two. I think it's a reflection of the times and the sorry state of gender relations.

I'm not sure where people meet anymore, I always thought bars and clubs weren't good for meeting women. Most people go online it seems like, but you could say that online is probably just like the bar only worse?

I don't think there is anything weird or creepy about a guy sitting alone at a bar and having a drink, so don't worry about that. I think the best advice I can give is if you are going to do it, go without any expectations, and start up conversations with the people sitting around you. At the very least you will have some conversation with some new people, and once in a while you might hit the jackpot and end up leaving with a new special friend =)

I walked by the Fairview pub this afternoon/evening to get an idea of what the crowd/atmosphere was like there. I was surprised to see there were alot of older people and seniors there. Alot of the 50+ crowd. Definitely not the spot for what I'm looking for in terms of meeting single ladies. I was hoping for more women in their 30s and early 40s.

Not that this applies to most here but.......if your looking for action in Kamloops, try the Blue Grotto downtown.....Holy shit, I don't think I've ever been hit on so many times in one night.
Average age is 30's, and the place is always packed on a weekend.

A good little bar that packs out certain nights of the week with an eclectic crowd with some hotties is the Brighton on Hastings east of Nanaimo. Its very similar to the Cheers bar and they have local craft beer specials every night and tokeups on the sidewalk outside where you can meet the inhabitants.
