My Badanything you buy from a store is mass produced and will most likely taste odd.. so a no brainer would be just make your own... or is your life so busy that you absolutely have no time except for the commercial break to prepare food for yourself? Whats with you people get off your lazy lumps and fend for yourselves. I think its quite shameful how much we rely on mass produced pre-made food items, what ever happened to good old fashioned cooking
and 4ByFish stop puttin chicken in the microwave thats just horribly wrong![]()
Went and bought Presidents Choice chicken strips last week. They aren't exactly what I'm looking for...they're a low grade chicken by-product type...when you bite into them and look at the so called meat, they look like white foam material. I can only imagine what goes into these...but for the low end of the market, they do taste pretty good.Call me weird, but I like the presdent's choice from Super Store chicken strips. A kind to avoid is the Blue Lable, those taste like sawdust!
Kalel, thanks for the tip. The M&M chicken strips are pretty good. For $14 (on sale), I got a huge box with around 30 strips in it...and it's real chicken!!!! Not that foam by-product stuff found in most frozen chicken strips. Pretty tasty with plum sauce!! I went for the breaded ones...not overly healthy, so I'll just have a few a day...m&m meatshop. but instead of the breaded chicken strips (which have more fat and breading) i used to buy the spicy breaded chicken breasts and then cut them up.
