I gave my seats away last week as i,m a pissed off fan.
but a buddy has called and he has awesome seats and invited me.
I made a deal with him , I will go , but i,m gonna BOOOOO them when they come out onto the ice.
Then I will feel ok , done my boo biz and get on with the season.
My buddy is cool with that and will also join hopefully thousands doing same thing.
If your going to game , please join us and BOO loudly and let them know the fans are not pleased with the way we are treated.
Go Canucks Go !!!

Going to "boo" at the first game and then supporting the team is like having an abusive husband beating the shit out of his wife, saying "I'm sorry", hugging her, and then having the wife say "I love you, honey, all is forgiven..."

I, for one, will not be abused by the NHL ever again. Not this cat.
Fuck 'em all...

I said i would boo as they came out onto the ice , which i did to very loud music....then got on with watching the game if u call it that.
Your comparison is very weird and i think you have issues you should deal with as its quite obvious you are carrying alot of guilt.
As far as the game goes it was perfect, could not have been better ,
both goalies stunk the place up , with all the defence that was iced tonight none except Beiksa came in game shape and or to play.
not sure if there were any forwards on the ice as they were invisable. Edler even though he got a goal look soooooo out of shape.
This team has some serious problems and face a very young in game shape team tomorrow with edmonton..... look out Canucks.

Probably the most effective form of protest would simply be to not patronize the NHL.
Yeah you would think that but ol Goo must be "simpler" than that.

Such a vocal protest...booing whilst the players hit the ice whilst accompanied to loud music and sirens
blasted out on a 1000 watt sound system....it is equal to trying to empty the ocean with a thimble with one
scoop at a time and throwing that salient water on the beach.....pretty fucking useless if you ask me.

My protest is this.I will not watch a single NHL game this season on TV or live and I will not spend a thin
dime on anything NHL related.

Vote with your wallet.

Canucks hockey seems so corporate now. Haven't been a fan since the days of Linden Ronning Bure Courtnall.

I went to see both Saturday and Sunday night games. Even though Canucks lost both games, I had fun including buying some Canucks shirts 50% off. It got really interesting when I was talking to this quite attractive lady who just had breast implants. She was quite drunk and gave me her phone number while telling me that she was unhappily married:)

THIS is how you show them. This is exactly what I am doing.
SR, you have it correct - booing while the music is going is like telling someone off once they already hung up on you. Pointless. Utterly pointless.

VANCOUVER — Several NHL teams, including the Vancouver Canucks, will not be travelling this season in quite the style to which they have become accustomed. :( :violin:

All seven Canadian NHL teams and a handful of other U.S.-based teams use Air Canada's Jetz executive-class charter service to travel during the season.

The aircraft are outfitted with first-class seating throughout the cabin, or at least they were. During the recently concluded National Hockey League lockout, Air Canada reconfigured five of its six charter jets and sent them back into regular passenger service.

That leaves just one plane that is completely outfitted with first-class seats. Goodbye leg room.

The Canucks only learned last week about the changes and are not happy about them.

"We are currently exploring our options with respect to how our team will travel this year and who will be our carrier," assistant general manager Laurence Gilman said Monday.

The Canucks head out on their first road trip of the season on Thursday, a three-game swing through California, and Gilman said the team does not yet know who they will be flying with.

"That has not yet been determined," he said.

Gilman said all seven Canadian NHL teams and at least a half-dozen American NHL teams use the Air Canada charter service. So do the NBA's Toronto Raptors.

Gilman left open the possibility of the Canucks using other charter carriers this season.

"It is a private agreement that our company has executed with Air Canada," he said. "We are in discussion with them about how they will fulfill their obligations to us. At the same time we are exploring our options. That's really all I want to say about it."

When the Edmonton Oilers travelled to Vancouver for Sunday night's game against the Canucks, they got lucky. The Oilers had the one good plane for their trip west, but got a regular plane for the return trip home after their 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.

Air Canada did not returns messages on Monday, but it apparently takes considerable time to reconfigure aircraft for executive-class charter service.

But it's not like the players will be squeezed into middle seats. Most should be able to stretch out in their own row. In economy, mind you.

The coaching staff and management will likely get first dibs on the 12 or 14 first-class seats that are on the regular aircraft.

The lack of first-class seating for all figures to be more of an inconvenience for Western-based teams, who generally have longer flights than their Eastern brethren.

Yeah it must just "plane" suck to get paid millions of dollars a year to fly around
north america and travel to cities such as New York/Boston/Philidelphia/Washington...cities
that are steeped in history and have interesting sites to see whilst the team is picking
up the tab for flying there....must suck even more not to get first class seating.

FUCK those whiney millionaires...they deserve a heavy sack beating just for complaining.
10 of the best from a 1/2 dozen hockey pucks in a burlap bag is what those whiney overpaid
and over privelidged assholes feel they have been deprived of.
