Is the Gold Swan on Cambie still operating? I used to go regularly a couple years back, but I noticed they don't even have an ad on leolist anymore.

It was always hit or miss, but I liked the relatively discreet entrance and back-door exit.

I was in the neighbourhood with some time to kill, so I finally stopped by Gold Swan.

They have renovated and refreshed the place. There are showers now in every room and new paint job.

There was a Caucasian masseuse who charged $160 for 30min with a HE. I didn't really click with her, so I didn't ask about extras. The massage was pretty good and HE was ho-hum.

Overall, Gold Swan has been upgraded, but its still a YMMV spa where you negotiate a price and service after you are in the room.
