While my personal preference would be Vancouver - Toronto as a final, can you imagine the American TV ratings if it were Edmonton - Ottawa? Are there two smaller markets in the league?

You're right, CP - an Alberta western final would be great. I guess sometimes my anti-Flames sentiment gets the better of me. My apologies if I offended any Flames fans, but I really do wish that Iginla was an Oiler! I love the way he plays, but he always seems to be an Oiler-killer...

With the soft schedule that Nashville and St. Louis have left, the Oilers have to probably win all of their last five games. It's not going to be easy. I just wish one of these years that the Oilers would realize that the two points available in the first few games of the year are just as important as those in the last two weeks of the season.

I think the game to decide who's getting into the playoffs will be played next Tuesday against St. Louis. It's gonna come down to the wire...
And as for sending Lilith - that's a great idea. In fact, if we send Lilith, Gabrielle, Ariel, Alexandria, Lauren...hmmm - maybe Edmonton is named City of Champions for more than just sports!

even if the Oil don't make the playoffs this has been one of the best stearches of hockey they have produced in a long time....
But, I already pre-booked my playoff tix for the first two rounds.... Here's hoping...
