I thought it wasn't available til the 23rd. I'm going down to HMV in a few minutes to get my own copy.

Most of the GnR tracks for this album have been on the net for 5+ years.

now that its officialy out there my faves are

There Was A Time (T.W.A.T)
Better
I.R.S.
Madagascar

in terms of albums coming out these days you're lucky to find more than 1 or 2 good songs out of 10 or so. I guess all things considered it's a good album.

and yeah, we get it, it's not the same without slash, duff, steven or izzy. give it 5 more years or so and they'll get back together. remember everyone thought the eagles would never get back together.

OK. I've listened to it this evening.

Track #1 with the jagged piercing guitar intro is the only song so far to reach out and grab me. Had really expected more guitar work and less synth but with Slash gone I guess I should have expected a vocal performance.

It seems tho that every time I get my hands on a Bruce Dickenson CD, the music speaks to me front to back immediately and I was hoping for more of the same from Axl & Co. Maybe it will grow on me.

Now for my free Dr. Pepper?!!

overrated piece of crap and looks silly with corn rows–
he's ghetto now? and 5 years to make a cd? c'mon!
can't respect a guy that can't win a slap fight with Elton John.

just my opinion.
