Oh what the hell... so they should be happy...we are living on borrowed time anyways.
"don't worry, be happy", and understand the significance of your existence on the planet. Cheers for 2007.

That is a good idea for '07...."don't worry...be happy". My understanding of the significance of my exisitence on this planet is that it is truly insignificant.
You're wrong, your existence is important. You make as much impact on the planet as every other human being, and don't you forget that, you are important.

A while ago when I was a more active protester for environmental causes I firmly belived in the global warming this theory and that the cause was man made.

However, with exposure to others who are much more qualified in the area I'm begining to have my doubts about theory. On top of that this global warming theory has become more political than science. For every scienctist out there who supports the theory there another that disputes the theory.

Quite honestly, I don't know if global warming is cause by man or not but to make major environmental policies based on a this is insane. Governments should be looking at the overall environment instead of focusing on just the global warming.

An oldtimer told me that in the 70's the envoronmental movement was focusing on the world freezing theory and the earth was heading towards a new iceage. This theory was also supported by many reputable men of science.

By the way, after I expressed my doubts to others in the group. I got booted out for not going along with them. Bunch of bastards!!!! I was an activist even before they were out of school.
