I was getting all excited to see how tomorrow plays out with the draft....what happens with Kesler.

Terrible news about Gino. I got to meet him along with Naslund (before Naslund was a star) at the Abbotsford auto mall.
He seemed so down to earth and easy going.

Gino might have been an enforcer on the ice but off it he's a genuine nice guy. I remember getting his autograph when he came back to Vancouver with the Habs, he greeted all the fans with a giant smile. Hoping the docs can do something to help him.

I heard the news just as I was getting into bed last night. Gino is an inspiration to us all for what he's accomplished on and off the ice. I ran into Gino at the Chevron on Dunbar a couple of years ago while getting gas, and he was nice enough to shake my hand and was very humble. My hopes and prayers.

Stunned and saddened last night when I heard this. Yes, Gino was pretty humble and gave way more time to fans than virtually any other player. His work with the aboriginal community was great too. Keep fighting Gino!

Sad news....

I am not from Vancouver, and not a nucks fan, but always loved to see Gino, as he always seemed like he was ready to go to war for his team....... but off the ice I always saw him with a smile!

What a Warrior!!!
