So since giving and recieving a gift is such a wonderful thing.
I have another question .

The men obviously give their SP's gifts ,for a multitude or reasons. One of the more common reason is it just a nice gesture......the sp's seem to agree its a nice gesture and is always welcome(in some cases it adds to the relationship).
So in knowing this i wonder how many SP's give their clients gifts? After all it would seem only natural that this gift giving is a two way street.( i mean who wouldnt be thankful that these men spend there hard earned money and time on them and often bring gifts to show there apprecaition for said woman, hence returning kind gestures/gifts towards their dates/clients from the SP's)

For my birthday last year, my regular sp gave me birthday card, purdy's hedgehogs and a very nice handmade silver necklace. I wasn't expecting anything, so that was quite thoughtful of her.

They already do so much ;).

Thats the best "gift" one can ask for!

Since we are not paying for sex, we are paying for their time.

I had a great young lady give me a card and a very nice article of clothing for my birthday this year. Like goodmeat, I wasn't expecting anything, so it was a very kind gesture on her part.

How many waitresses give their customers tips? It's a pretty similar situation. If there's a regular customer who the waitress likes, she might give him/her a gift of some sort to show appreciation. The same goes for an SP. I would guess that both are pretty rare. As a general rule in any service industry it's the customer who does the tipping. The reverse is always rare.

While it is a nice thought to give clients gifts, sometimes it is not always practical, especially if that client is married. It could possibly raise questions. Most ladies like to show their appreciation by offering discounts, more services or more time. Even that extra gesture she remembered or thought to do would count.
When I do outcalls, a couple clients sometimes have candles and stuff to create a romantic ambience. That is a gift to me.

Have to disagree with you here ,usually when i go out for dinner they have the food, they prepare/cook the food, they serve the food...with a SP you just using their kitchen.

Someone also wrote your not paying for sex your paying for their time...if that is the case how come all the reviews describe the sex acts.

I knew in writing this question that not as many SP's would chime in on gift giving when it was SP's giving to clients....i guess when it comes to some people getting is better than giving.

It is a common practice to give gifts to clients in business to show gratitude for there business.

We are paying for their time. Sex is just a bonus and all the SP's knows that men like sex so why not give it when they stop by.

Shit, they get pleased too so it's a win win situation.

susi, that is really sweet. heartwarming, even.

i used to try to bring gifts for clients who pre-booked with me, but working for an agency, it isn't always easy to know who is coming to see you and when. i have given golf-ball shaped chocolates, a fancy pen, etc.

i stopped bringing gifts for clients mostly because they seemed weirded out by it. i think most men are more comfortable in their established gender roles, or perhaps i just have lousy taste. :p

the final gift i gave was a teensy bottle of wine; my client looked at me strangely and said "i don't drink." the bottle was left on the nightstand, where i put it. after that, i gave up giving materially and concentrate on giving erotically!

Speaking for myself, I like to bring a little gift of some kind for my favorite lady (actually, she's the only one I see these days).

It's usually small... a small bouquet of flowers, some belgian chocolates from Thomas Haas or Bernard Callebaut. I like to cook, so a couple of times I'll brought half a dozen homemade cookies.

On her birthday, I'll bring her a more personal gift. Once it was a couple of hardcover books from one of her favorite writers. Once it was a small bottle of one of her favorite designer fragrances.

And she's brought me gifts as well. She regularly brings a bottle of wine when she comes to visit me. Once when I moved into new place, she bought me a house warming basket that included towels and wine glasses. Last time she brought me a hardcover cook book from the executive chef of one of nicest restaurants in town... which I totally appreciated, I was eyeing that same book just months before.

It's nice when there's a personal touch.

Speaking of that I actually brought home made butter chicken to an SP before - her request LOL.

I've received small gifts from a couple of SP's. It was very sweet of them. It made me feel special that they took the time to find something for me. It's nice knowing that I'm more than just a client.

I call bull on this for 2 reasons. First, the waitress is in a service industry. So is an SP (hence the name Service Provider). It doesn't really matter if the particular service industry is food services, valet services, taxi services, erotic services, or any other service. In any service industry tips from the customer will be much more common (and in many cases expected) that tips (such as gifts) to the customer.

Second, if the SPs you've been seeing are ones that just let you use their kitchen, then you've been seeing all the wrong SPs. To continue the metaphor, the ones I've been seeing have been doing the cooking themselves, and delivering me with some truly delicious fare. ;)

i know, right?

i think most of us were raised to be more gracious when receiving a gift. imagine saying to your grandma, "i don't wear sweaters with reindeer on them."

HA!

PS: missy, you are a woman after my own heart. way to be.

I mean, I have gotten some bad gifts in the past, but I always put a smile on my face, and always act appreciative... if you can't do that, maybe you should head back to kindergarten....

And Missy, you are nothing but classy.... nice to hear.... :)
