Hi can you get infected with any kind of STD for licking the inside of a woman's vagina?
Will the saliva in the mouth helps kill some of the STD viruses?
Hi jmanxx
Here is a link to information on STI and oral sex.

For a person performing oral sex on a woman the main STI risks are herpes and syphilis.
Hepatitis B would also be a risk but we are unsure if this would be a high or low risk as it has not been researched very much. To be on the safe side we recommend that anyone who is having sex should get the hepatitis B vaccine. You can get it at your doctors office or a travel clinic. It is free at STI clinics or public health units. Here is a link for more information.

There is a risk for HIV but this risk is low. One reason they believe HIV is a low risk is because of saliva. Saliva is made up of some substances that appear to inactivate HIV.
As mentioned on recent posts on PERB there has been growing evidence of the transmission of the human papillomavirus (HPV) from oral sex. Currently the exact risk of HPV from performing oral sex on a woman is unknown. Also the risk of having HPV in your throat is unknown. If I find any additional information I will let you know.
Dental dams provide great protection when performing oral sex on a woman. Here is a link for additional information.
