Still lost in the '60s
Over the past few weeks at least three Georgia Straight distribution boxes have disappeared in the Burquitlam area.

I wonder if the company is cutting costs by focusing more on the city and less on the 'burbs.

Has anyone else noticed this happening?

We still receive it in the building I live in. The paper is a helluva lot thinner now compared to just a few years ago. I sure notice the escort / Massage section drying up. As little as a couple of years ago, there were 4-5 full pages, if not more, covering that section alone. Now, it's half that. But, I wondered if Bill C-36 had something to do with that?

Over all, I think social media and websites such as Vancity Buzz are hurting the Straight? As we all know, the internet is changing everything around us.

All print media is going the way of the dinosaur ... have you taken a look at the Sun or Province lately. It's just the way it is now.
