George Chuvalo Died, RIP

Probably the best boxer Canada ever produced died. He fought many of the greats (Ali, Frazier and Foreman) and always acquitted himself well. Tough man with a 73-18-2 record.

Great guy from most accounts. Lots of tragedy in his life.
I used to see him walking around with a brief case in the Royal York Road and Eglington area. I think he was trying his hand at selling real estate. That was around 1974. He looked scary.

George was a solid heavyweight contender in his day and fought everyone including Frazier, Ali (twice), Foreman, Floyd Patterson, Jerry Quarry and many others. Rest In Peace, George.
