General Thoughts on Leolist Ads

So I was wondering about a few things on Leolist and wanted to see what others thought.

1. I heard that verified pics just mean that they paid extra for that tag? Is that true? As in verified doesn't actually mean verified by anyone?

2. Ads with girls showing their face and tattoos. Presumably girls that have tattoos can't really pull off a bait and switch right? I mean take this one for example. Who's gonna claim they are the girl in the pic if they don't have the full sleeve? https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/metro-vancouver/vancouver_-5618664?source=list

3. Ads with the girl holding a piece of paper with Leolist.cc typed and written on it. How much does this ease your suspicion around the authenticity of the ad? I mean because there's a piece of paper with LL handwritten and dated, does that mean it's not a stock photo or model from IG and therefore, she must be the real thing? They all look hot but if it weren't for the piece of paper, I'd say they are all fake. Look at all these samples.

1.Verified pics are not an extra charge but it don’t mean anything. It’s just LL’s process of sending them pics for verification that the poster is a flesh and blood person... doesn’t mean that person won’t rip u off, etc

2. No, but you won’t find out until you enter the incall. By then it’s too late and time/money wasted, or worse. Often those ads are the ones that require a “deposit”, then you are ghosted. I really hope no one thinks that inked girl will be the one behind the door at 3am.
I personally dislike the deposit scam the most, as it also takes business away from real sp’s that utilize deposits so their time isn’t wasted.

3. Same as the verified pics. And it doesn’t mean they didn’t steal the photo from another sp. Or that the girl holding the sign won’t rip you off, etc
The first 2 links are wot/wom. Cant be bothered to look at the rest.
In fact the girl in the first link has already ripped off 2 members here. Was reading the threads earlier today.

As to my general thoughts on LL... it’s like going to the mall, or more so like a marketplace.
A vast selection of vendors, a lot of options, a lot of garbage but you can find some great items, and hidden gems too!
So as the consumer, if you don’t do your own due diligence, your likely gonna get ripped off. No ones gonna do your homework for you.
But unlike some of the marketplaces around the world, NO haggling on prices. That shit ain’t kosher.

I have seen two ads that were stolen from women who had paid for pro photoshoots.
The scammers used the photos, text, and the women’s names.
The photos had “verified” on them.
Neither ad was posted by the rightful owner. One was posted in Edmonton while the rightful owner was in Toronto.
Some scammers are stealing money but there are women using popular women’s images. I would be really pissed off if I thought I was seeing an elite lady and some skank answered the door.
Leo is a big disappointment, they had the market all to themselves but are a joke.

Yeah, I’d be pissed off too.

And imagine how the women who paid for the pro photoshoots must feel.
Arranging the booking, hair and make up, mani/pedi, getting all dolled up in their best outfits, going through the actual process (zzzzz), agonizing over picking out the best photos, ink marking them, etc
...then someone just swipes em. Lame.

Sucks for everyone.

Well I don't know ... really don't know if there is a solution. I mean I go back to the Classified section of the newspaper or the back couple pages of the Georgia Strait and if you wanted a crap shoot hoo wee there it was. Then Craigslist and Backpages and Eros came around and it was like poon - fucking - heaven!! I could even search by general area!

So yeah, fakes abound. Picture rip offs, scammers, etc. My email inbox is full of every type of spam imaginable. Thankfully they stopped sending me ED ads as I guess the mofos felt well that guy got that fixed.

Isn't there a way to watermark a picture? Specific tag on it which the original owner refers to? Could have a contact in it etc. Maybe that is easily defeated too. ??

At any rate we have beat the fake ads thing to death here and unless leolist fixes things at their end which is highly unlikely, we are all stuck with dealing with it. I thank every pooner here who has TOFTT and has reported back so that the rest of us don't have to repeat what that poor mucker went through.

Best not to think about it too hard, the whole "verified" tag is redundant to begin with. There will never be a rock-solid policy that won't have scammers work around it. Your best bet is to just zoom out, step back and gauge how they represent themselves in their ad.

2. Ads with girls showing their face and tattoos. Presumably girls that have tattoos can't really pull off a bait and switch right? I mean take this one for example. Who's gonna claim they are the girl in the pic if they don't have the full sleeve?
Well, I'm looking at her eyes and lips, and defined jaw-line, and spinner body......and realize why is a super-model grade escort advertising only on classifieds, when she should have social media accounts each with 6 figures in followers simping on her so hard, she can afford her own professionally developed website to enhance her brand?....a girl like that, giving up the bare minimum?.....common sense says SCAM

Depends on the paper..... doesn't take a wizard to white-out what was written on that paper and replace it with current dates. You can tell it's obviously been done in some photos, when the glossy sheen of white paper is somehow muted with a flat-pearl off-white coloring. Sometimes to trick any "reverse image searches", so the photo comes off an original and unique. Other times is a provider's deluded self-image, shilling for photos that were 10 years old or 100lbs ago.......but not in those ads you linked, those are real. But, if done right, a time-stamped paper does help if it's not so obviously tampered with.

TBD - Richmond.... tend to be skeptical, since recent reviews from that area haven't been in their favor. Even if they are real, they tend to be very flakey to deal with....not my experience, just how I'm reading these Richmond reviews.

Asian ad....9 times out of 10, they are not who they are in the photo, and if they are it's photoshopped to hell.

I don't usually go on LL unless it's to get contact info for someone I have already seen or researched. I read so much about fake ads there that I don't put much credence to the site. There are much more reliable and credible sites to browse than LL in my opinion.

To make LL more useful I have been referring here to the general pooner-hood and man has it helped!

However, as a long time pooner, I have found very few reliable and credible sites to browse. I lament the loss of Craigslist as the alternative to LL. Backpages was iffy, cuddleup never seemed to offer fruition, tryst so far no cigars in my searches, and so many of the other pay for use sites are so full of scam bots its not worth the time or effort.

Do feel free to share all those other reliable and credible sites.

We do not pay extra to get our ad verified, as far as the sign with leolist written on it, you must do that, inorder to get your ad verified, we send a pic of drivers licence, then pics with signs, and they verify your ad, if its the same person in both pics, we cant blurr our faces in pics, until its been verified first, verified ads actually pay a little less for advertising. And they definetly dont give away verified ads, if you purchse so many bumps, ive been with leolist since day 1, it was first free to advertise, there will always be scammers, read her ad, then look for her reviews on here, best bet, just because a lady is holding a paper, doesnt mean the ad is verified, only the red circle with the black checkmark means its verified

Always do image searches before proceeding.
My best luck has always been direct referrals by ladies I trust, ie "You should meet my friend".
Check their twitter to get an idea of their persona.

Be willing to write off one out of ten as fails. I actually haven't had a fail in several years by sticking to a few favourites.

I have had most of my successful encounters from Tryst. There are a few sketchy people on that sight but many more that are well reviewed, classy and drama free. I have never had anyone there change anything agreed upon once we were together which seems a common complaint on LL. The odd picture might be dated but I've never been unpleasantly surprised by the person opening the door. Just my experience

Leolist is basically full of way too many scammers and fake ads.

I would never attempt to book anyone on there that has never been reviewed and is not advertising on a online review board.

Then you have those of us who TOFTT to thank for the reviews :)
I, for one, am deeply thankful! If I had more time and a lot more money, I'd like to join that small sub-group, but sadly I have to play it safe and take as few risks as possible.

Thanks again for all your "hard" work! :D
