Since we're in the business of reviewing, reading and writing is probably a fun exercise for you all.

Here's a short quiz that determines your native background and dialect

Sure, and don't I always say "i'm too Irish to drink politely?", so? I simply love the fact that this breaks down like this based upon your understanding of which IDIOMATIC STRUCTURES are also grammatically correct. In Canada, we say "by accident"; in other parts of the world it's correct to say 'on accident'. We study different subjects & disciplines in university; in the UK, they read subjects & disciplines at university.

Well, in addition to the fact that I am a native English speaker of Anglo Saxon descent, I spent 20+ years teaching English language arts (and other subjects) As SPs go, I am clearly the most qualified to handle your grammatical and linguistic needs! I'm quite a cunning linguist too.

What form of New Zealand dialect is New Zealandish I wonder?
Maybe it is kinda New Zealand English but not quite... which would probably be right.

And the results of the vocab was embarrassing for my education level... :(

With your qualifications, it's properly too expensive for a young me like me to afford :thumb:

That's too bad, patdragon, because even I can sense a small lack of expertise in your English writing skills.

From what I understand, there are none better than Ms. Erica to hire for an hour or two to handle your grammatical and linguistic needs, and I hear she'll also handle some other subjects that may come up..:thumb:.:D

Oh, and I think you meant to write:..."With your qualifications, it's probably too expensive for a young man like me to afford".........instead of what I quoted above..:)
