Yeah these days I'm not worried. I'm pretty sure last game against Phoenix they were down at least 2 before they decided to wake up.

Vancouver
Canucks took the Coyotes too lightly. Plus, it's hard to win when you score in your own net! lol

Oh well, can't win 'em all!

Hmm - this is a deja vu all over again  First LA and now Phoenix. Hold on . . . whoomp . . . that was the sound of everyone jumping off the bandwagon.

Before anyone calls out Trackstar as being Canucklehead Fan No 1 - the coyote image was funny - watching them lose this way was even funnier. I would have preferred losing a hard fought game in the last minute or in overtime. That would have made things easier to stomach. Everyone needs to take a step back and realize the recent success is no reason to start planning the parade or to call out BJH. He is probably laughing right now while trying his best Shane O'Brien COF poke check.

Again - even if we find a way to get home ice (by placing 4th or by winning the division) - we are still way behind Detroit and San Jose. We still have plenty of games left in the season - so enjoy the ride and try not to injure yourself as jumping onto the wagon.

Yeah the Sharks are playing really well lately aren't they.
Vancouver's always had some stupid issue playing lesser teams, which is fine by me. Personally I'd love to see a first round against the Sharks. The only reason they're up where they are is their quick start out the gate. Doesn't mean squat once you're in the playoffs. Hell Burrows has more goals then Thornton. Its all about momentum going into the playoffs, doesnt matter if you had 100 pts or 80pts other then home ice. Sharks are picking a bad time to start tanking it. I think Detroit's going to come out on top of the west in the end again and with their damn playoff luck take it all.

Hmm - you forgot to mention that the Sharks had a lot of injuries (including their Number 1 Goalie) but I am sure you will come up with another reason to stay on the wagon. I follow the Canucks too but be rational and realistic. With all due respect to Burrows (great player btw) - why would you even embarrass yourself by bringing any comparison to Joe Thornton. Joe's a top tier player - he has more assists than Burrows has points. WTF? Joe's better than any of the Sedins, Sundins, etc. I guess 100 points a season for 2007 to 2008 means 25 goals a season by your Canuck beer goggles.

The Sharks do not lose like the Canucks do and their losing streak was not that bad as they were able to win a few games in between losses and they found ways to beat crappy teams and they do not embarrass themselves. There was that one 6-0 loss to Detroit but that pales to losing 10 in a row at home. Also - the Sharks have made much better recent playoff success.

There is nobody on the Canucks that can hold Thornton's jock  It's great that the Canucks have been on a roll, but let's not get carried away. I have my doubts about even a Cinderella scenario occurring. If the Canucks win the first round, it will be a hard-fought battle in which our injury-prone players will be hospitalised through the entire golfing season. The rest will be all beat up and ill-prepared for round two.

I would love for the Canucks to do well in the play-offs, but am smart enough not to bet my money on a team that is, "On a roll" against teams that they SHOULD be beating. It's still exciting to watch and see what happens down the stretch and see if they can catch up with the Flames!

Funny when Vancouver's #1 goalie was out noone cut that slack for their losing games.
So how many Stanley Cups does Thorton have? Cheechoo's having a banner year too eh. Other then Thorton and Marleau most of their players are having about an average season as the Canucks. And for how highly touted Thorton is, I'd say 79 pts is pretty sad. Is he a great player yeah, overrated though. And what does "recent playoff success" mean? Squat. or does it carry over to this year or something?
And people like yourself are the wagon jumpers thanks. I watch the games, winning or losing.
Why do you jackasses figure that anyone who supports Vancouver win or lose is a bandwagoner?
Weren't the Sharks supposed to win it all last year, and the year before?
I don't recall seeing any of the Vancouver fans here saying they expect them to win the cup.
