Always thought they were alright not the biggest fan but always wondered when and if Axel would ever release this album.

After 17 years heard the first single yesterday which is Chinese Democracy and maybe it will grow on me but I doubt it.....if the rest of the album sounds like that he should of kept it on the shelf.

Anyone else hear it??

For Axel to come out with something like this after so many years. I was excpecting something more interesting. The intro drags and with his intro scream which he's trying the Build up energy to the song fails tragically. The song itself is boring as hell with no interesting hooks at all.
Very boring song. I dont download music , but speaking in general, I wouldn't even download it. what does that tell you.

I'm still smelling a G & R reunion very soon.

If you read Slash's autobiography, I wouldn't count on it. Guns did a New Years show at the Hard Rock in Vegas. Slash was in Vegas, so he thought he'd check it out. He was refused entry into the Hotel.

I thought the new stuff was ok, but MASSIVELY over-produced. Axel made the common mistake of forgetting that he is a singer and not the all encompassing genius that he thinks he is. AMAZING frontman, but gaining experience as a producer on your own multimillion dollar album is a bad idea.

i don't even consider it a g'n'r album. it should be called axle and some other dudes.

until its axle, slash, izzy, duff and maybe steven on drums but it could be matt as well on drums. it ain't g'n'r.

I notice alot of the 80s and 90s bands are coming back with records. I'm betting it's the labels pushing known product out to try to make their last few bucks.

The product isn't bad, it's just boring or in the case of Oasis, sounds like nothing every changed. I suppose the new AC DC record falls in that category of "same old thing".
True but it's a good "old" thing I like their new album alright and to see them live and hear them crank out all their old stuff would be worth it...I'd like to see if Angus can keep up the pace for 2 hours like he did back in the day

There Back in Black tour was amazing
