Funny text messages

All of the ladies who put themselves out there are subjected to harassing and trollish messages on a fairly regular basis. I typically just ignore them and assume the person has either had a bad experience, or is unhappy with something in their lives which has nothing to do with me.

A few weeks back I received a string of particularly insulting and aggressive messages from someone I have never met. He went on a 37 message diatribe (yes...37 messages without a single response from me) about how my pics are photo shopped beyond recognition, I must think men are idiots if anyone would believe I have a physique like that.

Flash forward to today. A few hours ago, when I get to the top of Grouse Grind, I check my messages. He has sent another. "Was that you who just whipped by me on the grind?"

Indeed it was. I'm not replying. But I found it funny that my "photos altered beyond recognition" would still allow someone who has never met me to recognize me completely out of context.

The way I read it. Sounds a bit of a concern too me. Why? You state he sent you many messages a few weeks back then, coincidentally, he manages to see you on the grind? Hmmm. Are you confident you don't have a stalker? I mean, what are the odds a person you've never met &-- 37 texts sent --- happens to see you on the grind :shocked:?

Am I reading too much into this??

You don't find that just a little creepy? I will admit, if you went by me in the middle of a heart attack on the grouse grind, I'd probably still notice....BUT, he sent multiple harassing texts to you, and just happened to see you in person the next week?....and then had the balls to text you the fact ,that he was in your personal comfort zone at the time?
It's none of my business but, I'd change my habits, and watch my back trail.

I think you are reading too much into this Sybian. Coincidences happen. I could tell you an absolutely amazing one that happened to me personally but it would identify me to the many people I have told this event in my life to.

If the guy has or gets access to the Lounge and sees this thread, even though you ignored the text at the time, you've now effectively answered his question for him and confirmed you were there.

It takes me 35-37 minutes to do the grind, so it is rare for anyone to pass me. If anything, I passed him, so he would have been there before me, and not stalking me. I don't have any sort of regular schedule I do the grind on, so it was simply coincidence.

However, I really appreciate the concern that everyone is showing. Yes, 37 messages is a concern. However, it was sent over a 4 hour period, so not really an obsessed with me concern. It's the ones that send multiple messages a day, every day, including what you are currently purchasing at the farmers market that are a concern.

As for doing the Grind in over just half an hour....I could do that as well..if Angel was in front of me with that amazing body....and had a rope around her waist to help drag me up behind her.

Vancouver is a small town with only a few fun zones....chances of running into somebody you only know from pictures are not unusual. I've never met Angel, but I've seen her several time on Robson and other parts of the West End, but I've never approached her. On the flip side, my dog is a rather unique critter and twice now while walking him I've been asked if I'm uncleg....once by a male, the other by a female......

The only way I would take on the grind climb is if there was a nice ass walking in front of me to lock my eyes onto.

37 text messages does point to a few screws loose. What would anyone hope to accomplish with that sort of behavior?
